Sunrise Pizzeria in Newport News

Our order took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get to us. The fries were soggy and cold, the pizza was cold and the bread underneath was soggy too. There was a hair on one of our pizzas. Also the salad I ordered was soggy and disgusting. Will NEVER order from here ever again. $45 wasted!!! All went in trash

All foods that I ate are awesome. But my favourite is cheesesteak. Exactly, My family has to taste these pizzas and cheesesteak. I am sure my doughter will like it too much...

This place is horrible! I ordered the shrimp Alfredo with chicken. The shrimp was so small that I’ve never seen shrimp that small. The chicken was dry and it tasted horrible! You’ve been warned, don’t waste your time or money.

Best family restaurant in Newport news

Placed an order for a business luncheon via EZCater in January. Would have given them ZERO stars if I could! They CONFIRMED our order twice and did not show. EZCater called every number that they had on file for this business and no one answered. Our food was never delivered - ruined the lunch celebration we had planned. Will not use them again.

I think for the prices, the food is excellent. I have ordered from here for years and I’ve eaten there a few times and I’m never disappointed. Occasionally something minor will be messed up with my order but it’s typically either a topping I asked for and didn’t get or something I asked to be removed and it wasn’t, but no big deal. Staff is always friendly and food is always fresh. Keep up the good work, Sunrise.

Very good for the price. If you think to yourself that 3 of you can kill the party sized pizza, you would be wrong. I have no complaints about any of the food. Worth your money for sure.

I can only speak for this location on Chatham Drive but I have gottten take out and delivery and the food is always great. Cold foods are cold and hot foods are hot when I get them! service inside is always good they're quick they're efficient. I order Stromboli's or Philly cheesesteak subs more than anything else and they're always excellent. Definitely recommend this place

Horrible place to eat, found hairs in my food. Wish I would of read the negative reviews before I placed an order, reading that people have even found cockroaches in their food. They might as well add cockroaches and hair as one of their toppings! Unfortunately google doesn’t let you give negative stars. This place is absolute trash

They cancelled my order and claimed it was because I was outside of their delivery range? But it was literally going from Chatham to De Wald. That's a six minute drive.

This was my first and last time. Rude, expensive and pizza tasted like little caesars.. Disappointing!!!

For a person who don't eat pork, this Sunrise Pizzeria Family Restaurant is a gift from Allah!! All of the meat is turkey products. That's right, I said TURKEY NO PORK!! My family and I were overjoyed to order a pepperoni pizza and chicken wings. Everything was fresh and delicious. The next day I reheated my pizza and it outstanding. I highly recommend this location to everyone especially for us who doesn't eat pork.

Ok to start there food is pretty good delivery is fast. Got food within a half hour after being told 45 minutes to an hour. But was very upset when we sit down to eat and one they gave us blue cheese for fries instead of ranch, our kids chicken and fries was only chicken and then went to eat dessert and there was a hair in my cannoli and I'm aware that there not mine cause i have red hair and the hair was black. Again food was good service was fast, just recommend slowing it down a little or paying attention to order detail.

Fresh pizza and good customer service

I quite enjoyed the service here. They are attentive and responsive. They all seemed to have a good vibe behind the counter as well. The employees seemed to like being at the store - which is rare for pizza restaurants.The crust is perfectly proved and delicious. The cheese is flavorful and pairs well with many of their toppings. Even more? The pan pizza...it makes me want to keep going back.

Food was Nasty!! Pizza brunt!!! Called up to get my order replaced. The person that I was speaking with said the her name was Hannah, she was very rude. Will not ever eat here again!!

I wish I had taken a picture of the lasagna I ordered this weekend before I threw it in the trash. I've gotten food from here before and had no complaints. I decided to order something different from what I usually order this time. The lasagna was horrible! It was basically two beef patties on the bottom of the pan with pasta, tomato sauce and cheese on top of it. Who in this country doesn't know how to cook lasagna? You don't use beef patties in a lasagna and think your customer won't notice the difference. At least cut the patties up! I stuck my fork in one and picked it straight up out of the pan. IT WAS A BEEF PATTY!! They were nasty beef patties too.

This place is a wonderful family restaurant to eat. Good food and very friendly staff!

Great place to eat pizza

We had chicken wings with philly’s steak and cheese sub. Everything was delicious. They have many halal options, but you need to ask. Waitress was super kind and friendly. I live in NOVA. If i pass from here, i will definitely stop by again.

I really like this place. Food is great and staff is friendly. Compared to other pizza places pizza sauce is unique and perfect. Cheese steak pizza, cheese bread are delicious and wonderfulI really recommend

UNACCEPTABLE!! This Pizzaria is a disgrace, I have TRIED to order from here twice. The first time it took them TWO HOURS to deliver the pizza!! The second time I ordered through GrubHub and I never received my food, I had to contact customer support and have them cancel the order and refund my money!! Just do us all a favor and close down already, what a garbage company...

Absolute disgusting place, got a delivery the pizza had hairs all in it. Not just a hair but multiple. Did not seem like an accident! Stay away people!!!

Small salads were generous portions. The Sunrise Special Salad was covered with provolone, ham, turkey, roast beef.

I love their food and when it’s delivered, it’s always fast and hot.

Great place to have a quick bite, we tried cheseburger, pizza, philysteak and chicken wings. Really enjoyed all the food, service, cleanliness of the tables etc..so all in all it was a good experience.

It was OK, i was trying something other than my normal, all i can say is stick with what you use to... it wasn't the best, it wasn't the worst.

The worst experience I have ever had! So many "extra fees" for delivery...it doubled the price of my order. Lied to by the manager. Took forever to get the food. Staff was very rude.

Indian + Italian = AmazingIt sounded strange, but is DELICIOUS. Got the Indian inspired paneer Kathi roll and the paneer tikka pizza... Phenomenal! Do not miss this place. It is a true local jem!
